Our teachers encourage inquisitiveness and creativity, offer daily hands-on learning activities allowing children to discover through experimentation and exploration. Our focus is on facilitating the development of the whole child: social, intellectual, emotional and physical through developmentally appropriate activities, based on proven educational theories in regards to how children learn and develop.
Kids Depot is committed to a superior quality of care. Our program of study is developed based on a balance of focusing on fostering self esteem, encouraging natural learning, while concentrating on school readiness requirements. We offer a caring and nurturing atmosphere. Teachers and staff at Kids Depot provide each child with an abundance of love and one on one attention. Smaller ratio classes expose children to teacher one on one directive learning along with child initiated activities, provide an advanced learning environment, as well as promote appropriate intellectual and emotional growth accomplishments.
At Kids Depot we believe curriculum is the most important part of your child’s day! However, we understand children learn best through play and learning about the world around them. During your child’s time at Kids Depot we will focus on core Tennessee Developmental Standards that are age appropriate for each age group while using different teaching strategies that best accommodate your child’s educational and developmental needs. Two times a year we have parent teacher conferences to discuss your child’s developmental needs and progress. Our curriculum will include two circle times a day, a weekly letter, color, shape, and number focus, math/science activities, literacy, and fine and gross motor skills. Our curriculum is made to be fun, hands on, and educational.
